In the early morning hours of Saturday, March 16, 2024, a burst of violence outside a Brooklyn nightclub tragically ended the life of a young man. Dennis McMillan, a 23-year-old Black male, was fatally shot in the head in the East Flatbush neighborhood. The incident occurred at approximately 4:25 a.m. outside a venue located at 8906 Ditmas Avenue.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find McMillan with a critical gunshot wound.
He was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in a desperate attempt to save his life. Despite the efforts of medical staff, he was pronounced dead at the hospital. The sudden and violent nature of his death sent shockwaves through the community.
