Perla Gatchalian, a 75-year-old resident of Mahopac, NY, was found dead in her home on April 27, 2017. Her death was ruled a homicide by the medical examiner. Perla, originally from Baguio City, Philippines, had moved to the United States and built a life in Mahopac, where she was an active member of the community.
