Death by Force

On July 14, 2023, at approximately 9:20 p.m., 64-year-old Deborah Strauch was fatally shot inside her residence on Deer Park Avenue in Deer Park, New York. Emergency responders pronounced her dead at the scene.

Authorities quickly arrested her son, 26-year-old Tyler Strauch, who was present at the home during the incident. He was charged with second-degree murder in connection with his mother's death. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and investigations are ongoing.
