Death by Force

Andrew Walcott, a 25-year-old resident of Harlem, Manhattan, was tragically shot and killed on July 7, 2017. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 5:30 a.m., outside the Gourmet Deli located at 1477 Amsterdam Avenue. Walcott was standing outside the deli when he was approached by a man who drew a revolver and shot him in the head. Despite being rushed to Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital, Walcott succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
