In the early morning hours of July 7, 2017, a burst of violence on a Harlem street corner claimed the life of 25-year-old Andrew Walcott. The fatal encounter unfolded at approximately 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Amsterdam Avenue and West 133rd Street. Walcott was struck in the head by gunfire and was rushed to St. Luke's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
