In the early morning hours of October 21, 2017, Keith Pinckney, a 36-year-old Black male, was fatally shot in the Bronx, New York. Pinckney, a father of two, had been attending a house party on Davidson Avenue in the Morris Heights neighborhood. He reportedly stepped outside of the party at approximately 2 a.m. and was discovered less than thirty minutes later with gunshot wounds to his head and chest.
