In the early morning hours of April 13, 2018, the life of 39-year-old Robert Bosalavage came to a tragic end in his Flatlands, Brooklyn apartment. Police responded to a 911 call from the Avenue K residence to find Bosalavage with a gunshot wound to his eye. He was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The initial circumstances of the shooting were unclear, leaving investigators to determine if it was a self-inflicted wound or a homicide.
