In the summer of 2020, a weekend of widespread gun violence across New York City tragically claimed the life of Kadeem Street, a 27-year-old male from Brooklyn. On the night of Saturday, August 23rd, Street was in front of his home at 2946 West 23rd Street in the Carey Gardens Houses in Coney Island when gunfire erupted.
