Amanda Rose Owen, a 23-year-old female, Alaskan Native, from Anchorage, Alaska died on November 28, 2019, after being shot during a Thanksgiving gathering at an apartment on the 200-block of McCarrey Street. Police and medics were called a little after 3 p.m.; officers found the 23-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the upper body, and she was taken to a hospital, where she died a short time later.
