On May 14, 2017, 92-year-old Charlotte Marvin was found deceased in her Anchorage, Alaska, home from a gunshot wound. Her husband, 91-year-old Duane Marvin, contacted the authorities, stating, "I killed my wife and I don't know why." He was subsequently charged with first- and second-degree murder, as well as evidence tampering.
