On January 27, 2015, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Anchorage police responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex on the 6000 block of E 41st Court. Upon arrival, officers discovered 27-year-old Christian Haynes deceased at the scene and 23-year-old Krystal Elizabeth Hawk critically injured. Hawk was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries around 5 a.m.
