On July 9, 2018, Lee McClendon, a 46-year-old resident of the Bronx, New York, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred near the Bronx Supreme Criminal Court, where McClendon was found unconscious and unresponsive in his car with multiple gunshot wounds to his neck. The car's windshield wipers were still running when police arrived at the scene.
