On November 22, 2019, Rodgers was discovered in his vehicle on the 100 block of James Street, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was a male resident of Utica, born on May 1, 1986. Emergency services were called to the scene, and Rodgers was swiftly transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
