In the early hours of a February morning, the life of 29-year-old Jesse Christie was tragically cut short on a street in the Bronx. On February 9, 2020, at approximately 2:27 a.m., police responded to a 911 call reporting a man shot outside a residence on East 137th Street near Willis Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered Christie with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
