Tyquan Hardnett

In the early hours of a Tuesday in Manhattan, the life of 21-year-old Tyquan Hardnett was cut short in a burst of gunfire. On January 12, 2021, shortly after 1 a.m., Hardnett was shot and fatally wounded on an East Harlem street. The young man, a male resident of the neighborhood, sustained gunshot wounds under both of his arms. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but the efforts to save his life were unsuccessful.
