Tyquan Ymik Hardnett, a 21-year-old resident of East Harlem, Manhattan, tragically lost his life in a street shootout on January 12, 2021. The incident occurred just past 1 a.m. on E. 126th St. near Lexington Ave. after Hardnett stepped out of his family’s apartment. According to police reports, Hardnett and another man exchanged gunfire, resulting in Hardnett's death from gunshot wounds under both arms.
