Lamar Gibson, a 17-year-old resident of East Harlem, Manhattan, was tragically shot and killed on the night of July 13, 2020. The incident occurred around 11:52 p.m. in front of the Washington Houses, a public housing complex located at 230 East 102nd Street. According to law enforcement sources, Gibson was struck in the head during a hail of gunfire by unknown assailants.
