Rene Yanez, a 21-year-old man, went missing on February 10, 1993, in San Gabriel, California. That evening, at around 9:30 p.m., Rene set out from Darlington Stables on his horse, La Mora, accompanied by his white pit bull terrier, Queen. The plan was to take a nighttime ride along the San Gabriel River, a route he had taken before, as he was an experienced horseman who regularly competed in rodeos.
