On May 31, 2021, Amir James, a 15-year-old boy from the Bronx, was tragically shot and killed in East Harlem, Manhattan. The incident occurred around 10:30 PM at the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 123rd Street. Police responded to a 911 call reporting the shooting and found two victims at the scene.
