Joel Vasquez, a 28-year-old resident of Manhattan, New York, tragically lost his life on July 22, 2021, during a violent robbery. The incident occurred in the Inwood section of Manhattan, near Sherman Avenue and West 204th Street, around 6:30 a.m. Vasquez was sitting inside his car when two men approached him, brandishing a gun.
