In the summer of 1982, a heated argument shattered the lives of a couple in their Manhattan apartment. The dispute between 34-year-old transit police officer Michael Condon and his girlfriend, 28-year-old fashion model Catherine Reilly, ended in a tragic and violent murder-suicide. The couple had been together for about a year, and those who knew them were unaware of any significant troubles in their relationship.
