Derrick Johnson, a 26-year-old resident of Manhattan, New York, was tragically killed on October 7, 2021. Johnson was found unconscious with gunshot wounds to his back and ankle in front of a building on West 164th Street in the Washington Heights neighborhood. Emergency services responded to a 911 call at approximately 12:38 a.m. and transported him to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
