Mingo Mason, a 49-year-old resident of East Harlem, Manhattan, was tragically shot and killed on December 14, 2017. The incident occurred at La Paloma Candy Store and Grocery on Lexington Avenue near East 106th Street. Mason was inside the bodega, engaged in an argument with two other men, when Anthony Pinkston, a 45-year-old Bronx resident, entered the store and fired a single fatal shot.
