Leroy Louallen-Phinazee, a 29-year-old resident of Woodstock, the Bronx, was tragically shot to death on June 24, 2019, in Manhattan, New York. The incident occurred in the doorway of the Funfair Deli on Lenox Avenue at West 137th Street in Harlem. Phinazee had just dropped off his 7-year-old son, Landen, at basketball practice and was grabbing food when he was ambushed from behind by a hooded gunman.
