In the summer of 1991, a night of youthful exuberance in New York City turned tragic for 16-year-old Raymond Blount. Early on August 4th, outside the Marc Ballroom, a nightclub in Manhattan's Union Square area, an altercation that began inside the venue spilled out onto 13th Street. In the ensuing chaos, Raymond was shot and killed, his life cut short in a sudden act of violence.
