Richard "Dick" Kallman, an American actor known for his roles in television and Broadway, tragically died on February 22, 1980, at the age of 46 in his Manhattan apartment. Kallman and his business associate, Steven Szladek, were found shot to death in what was later determined to be a robbery. The apartment, which also served as Kallman's art gallery, contained valuable paintings, antiques, and jewelry worth millions.
