In the late afternoon of November 20, 2021, a dispute in East Harlem turned deadly, claiming the life of 16-year-old Jamere Chapman. The incident occurred at approximately 3:04 p.m. in front of the Wagner Houses, a public housing complex located at 350 East 124th Street.
