Omari Edwards, a 22-year-old resident of Newburgh, NY, tragically passed away on March 12, 2021. The incident occurred late at night when Edwards sustained a gunshot wound to his leg. He was transported to Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in a private vehicle around 11:15 p.m. Despite medical efforts, Edwards succumbed to his injuries.
