On the evening of March 14, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a Rochester, New York neighborhood, leaving a young man's life tragically cut short. Delquan Daniels, a 23-year-old Black male, was discovered inside a car on Glenwood Avenue, near Dewey Avenue, having been shot multiple times. First responders arrived at the scene around 9:30 p.m. to find Daniels in the front seat of the vehicle with at least one gunshot wound to his torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
