Shaheem Malachi Bascom, an 18-year-old from Brooklyn, NY, was tragically shot and killed on May 10, 2021. Bascom was on his way to meet a woman he had connected with online when he was ambushed and shot in the chest near the corner of Hegeman Avenue and Linwood Street in East New York.
