On Tuesday, April 12, 2011, a violent incident occurred at a residence in the 11140 block of Rossiter Street in Detroit, Michigan. Inside the home, 44-year-old Black male Lamont Houston was resting on a couch in the living room during the early morning hours, around 12:30 a.m. The quiet of the night was shattered when an unidentified individual or individuals opened fire from the outside, directing a barrage of bullets into the dwelling.
