In the late hours of a Wednesday evening in the Bronx, 19-year-old Tyquill Daugherty, a male, was fatally shot. The incident occurred just before 11:30 p.m. on July 7, 2021, on Prospect Avenue in the Belmont neighborhood. Daugherty, an aspiring rapper known by the stage name 'Ty Swish,' lived in the building right next to where the tragic event unfolded.
