In the late hours of the Fourth of July in 2022, a burst of violence inside an East New York bodega shattered the holiday calm, leaving two men dead and another critically wounded. One of the victims was 21-year-old Sulaiman Odunsa, a resident of the Brooklyn neighborhood who lived just a short distance from the Loring Avenue deli where his life was tragically cut short.
