Andy Desravines, 42, a Black male, was shot on the night of October 10, 2025, outside 80 East 18th Street in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park South/Flatbush area, steps from the Church Avenue B/Q subway station. Officers responding to a 911 call just after 8:30 p.m. found him with gunshot wounds to the leg and abdomen; he was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead. Police identified him publicly soon after, confirming his age and name.
