Unique Smith, a 15-year-old from Brooklyn, NY, tragically lost his life on September 7, 2022. Unique was shot in the abdomen while sitting on a park bench in McLaughlin Park, Downtown Brooklyn. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. on the first day of school. Unique was approached by two masked teens who questioned him about his gang affiliation.
