Augustin Santiago, a 34-year-old resident of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, was fatally shot on December 9, 2021. The incident occurred near the Marcy Avenue J-M-Z subway station in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, around 5:50 PM. Santiago was found with a gunshot wound to the chest and was immediately transported to Woodhull Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
