Raymond Scott Brown II, professionally known as Scotty Beats, was a well-regarded music producer and sound engineer from Bowie, Maryland. He was born on March 6, 1970, in Washington, D.C., and later moved to Hampton, Virginia, where he developed a passion for music. Scotty Beats was known for his work with various artists, including Amerie, Jennifer Lopez, and Gwen Stefani. His life was tragically cut short on October 13, 2006, when he was murdered in Bowie, Maryland.
