In a quiet Bristol, Connecticut neighborhood, the morning of June 4, 2014, was shattered by a tragedy that unfolded within the walls of a family home. Alexander Ryng, a 26-year-old White male, and his 27-year-old wife, Kyla Ryng, were found dead from gunshot wounds in what authorities would later describe as a murder-suicide. The couple’s three young children, ages four, three, and 20 months, were present in the house during the horrific event but were physically unharmed.
