In the summer of 2017, a young mother's life was tragically cut short in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On the evening of Friday, June 30, 18-year-old Ananya Crawford was at a car wash in the 1900 block of Scenic Highway when she was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m., sending shockwaves through the community and leaving a family devastated.
