Death by Force

On February 16, 2016, Selena Hansel, aged 47, was found dead in an abandoned house in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She had been shot, and her body was discovered in the 4000 block of Pawtucket Street, an area that had been experiencing issues with crime. Hansel’s death added to the alarming homicide rate that Baton Rouge had been struggling with, particularly in neighborhoods known for violence and crime activity.
