On November 30, 2016, 19-year-old April Netter was shot and killed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred while she was sitting in a car with a male companion on North 47th Street. An unidentified vehicle approached, and the occupants opened fire, tragically ending April’s life. The male companion survived the attack without injuries.
