Jorquisha Rose, a 39-year-old woman from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was fatally shot on the evening of March 10, 2025. The incident occurred around 8:36 p.m. in the 3300 block of Canonicus Street. Authorities responded to the scene shortly after receiving reports of gunfire, and emergency medical services arrived just before 8:50 p.m. Despite their efforts, Rose succumbed to her injuries.
