Maura Baquedano, aged 29, was killed on January 15, 2014, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred after a verbal argument between Maura and her cousin, Antonio Baquedano, who is accused of fatally hitting her in the head with an object. The two were living together in a residence on North Donmoore Avenue at the time. After the attack, Antonio fled the scene and an arrest warrant for second-degree murder was issued against him.
