J'Quan Jones, a 21-year-old from Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost his life on July 6, 2021, in a random shooting incident. J'Quan, a star athlete and 2018 graduate of Madison High School, was driving his mother's car in the area of Eight Mile and Rex on Detroit's east side when someone shot into the vehicle, killing him and wounding his friend.
