On the evening of February 5, 2021, a day that began with the simple joy of a winter outing, ended in a senseless act of violence that claimed the life of 25-year-old Brandon Punter in Detroit. Earlier that day, Punter had taken his five nephews and his girlfriend sledding, creating cherished memories that would tragically be their last together. As they were returning home, a road rage incident escalated into a fatal shooting.
