In the early morning hours of Sunday, January 8, 2017, a young man's life was tragically cut short in a cold-blooded ambush in Detroit's Midtown neighborhood. Devante Hogan, a 23-year-old male, was fatally shot at approximately 3:14 a.m. as he was walking to his car near the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Canfield Street. The brazen attack left a family heartbroken and a community searching for answers.
