On May 23, 2023, a tragic incident occurred on Detroit's west side, resulting in the death of 16-year-old Sir Spiller. The shooting took place before 2:30 a.m. in the 20000 block of Griggs Avenue, near the intersection of Wyoming Avenue and Outer Drive. Sir Spiller was shot in the head and killed during this incident.
