On July 28, 2010, at approximately 2:30 p.m., 32-year-old William Henry Gwaltney was found fatally shot in the 6900 block of Greenboro Lane in Temple Hills, Maryland. Residing in the 400 block of River Bend Road in Fort Washington, Maryland, Gwaltney was pronounced dead at the scene.
