On May 7, 2014, Samuel Cheadle, a 20-year-old from southeast Washington, D.C., was found shot to death on the front lawn of a home in Oxon Hill, Maryland. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 1 a.m., in the 4900 block of Maury Place.
