Lydell Walter Wood, a 29-year-old resident of Waldorf, Maryland, tragically lost his life on January 6, 2016. On that day, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2600 block of Rooks Head Place in Waldorf. Upon arrival, they found Wood with a single gunshot wound in his back. Despite efforts to save him, Wood succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
