He was met with a brutal and sudden attack by a man reportedly under the influence of cocaine.
The assailant, armed with an ice pick, viciously stabbed Officer Weiner 31 times. In a horrifying turn of events, the suspect then managed to seize Officer Weiner's own service weapon, turning it on him and firing a fatal shot to his head.
