On a summer evening in Bladensburg, Maryland, the life of 33-year-old James Linzy was tragically cut short. On July 13, 2016, at approximately 9:20 p.m., the sounds of gunfire shattered the quiet of the 4400 block of Blue Heron Way. Residents in the normally peaceful neighborhood reported hearing multiple gunshots, prompting calls to the authorities.
