James Linzy, a 33-year-old resident of Bladensburg, Maryland, was tragically shot and killed on the night of July 13, 2016. The incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. in the 4400 block of Blue Heron Way. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Linzy suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts to perform CPR while waiting for emergency medical services, Linzy was pronounced dead at the scene.
